He has since assembled the <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/stereogum.com\/2306079\/bill-orcutt-guitar-quartets-glorious-ordered-chaos\/interviews\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bill Orcutt Guitar Quartet<\/a>, a group of seasoned players (Wendy Eisenberg, Ava Mendoza, and Shane Parish) who assist Orcutt in bringing these wild sounds to life. <\/p>\n<p>Today he announces a new guitar quartet album, <em>Music In Continuous Motion<\/em>, and shares its first two tracks, &#8220;Giving unknown origin&#8221; and &#8220;Unexpectedly heavy.&#8221; Orcutt once again played all the guitars on the record, but he&#8217;ll be performing them live with the Bill Orcutt Guitar Quartet at Roulette in Brooklyn on March 20. <\/p>\n<p>This new music is very much in line with what he&#8217;s been doing in recent years: jagged, pogo-ing, bracingly harmonic tangles of sound that somewhat resemble a post-punk band without drums, bass, keys, or vocals.
