He&#8217;s got <em>normal people<\/em> on board. He doesn&#8217;t need <em>us<\/em>. The <em>Deadbeat<\/em> track &#8220;<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/stereogum.com\/2324268\/tame-impala-dracula\/music\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dracula<\/a>&#8221; broke containment, showed up on a million Halloween playlists, and became Tame Impala&#8217;s <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/stereogum.com\/2325536\/tame-impala-scores-first-hot-100-hit-announces-fall-tour-opening-act\/news\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">first-ever Hot 100 hit<\/a>, reaching a lofty peak of #30. Now, the song might go even higher, since Tame Impala just released a new &#8220;Dracula&#8221; remix that features the gigantic K-pop star Jennie.<\/p>\n<p>Jennie, as you may be aware, is one quarter of Blackpink, and she released her guest-heavy solo debut <em><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/stereogum.com\/2326587\/premature-evaluation-tame-impala-deadbeat\/reviews\/premature-evaluation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ruby<\/a><\/em> last year. She&#8217;s high up on some of this summer festival lineups, and now she&#8217;s got another track that&#8217;ll get a guaranteed reaction. The new &#8220;Dracula&#8221; remix speeds the tempo up a bit and turns the track even clubbier, and it&#8217;s got Jennie adding pillowy vocals and a tiny bit of quasi-rapping.
