As the world continues to keep Savannah Guthrie <\/strong>in their prayers, Hoda Kotb<\/strong><\/a> returned to the Today<\/em><\/a> show to lend her support.<\/p>\n

On February 2, news broke that Savannah\u2019s mother, Nancy Guthrie<\/strong>, had been reported missing<\/a> from her home in Tucson, Arizona, since January 31. The situation now involves both local authorities and the FBI, and Savannah, her sister Annie, <\/strong>and her brother Cameron <\/strong>have all come out with pleas<\/a> for the public to help them bring their mother home safe and sound.<\/p>\n

Given that Savannah has taken time off from Today <\/em>to be with her family, viewers were heartened to see her longtime friend and former co-anchor, Hoda, appear on the February 6 broadcast. As she sat alongside Carson Daly, Sheinelle Jones<\/strong>, and Craig Melvin<\/strong><\/a>, Hoda said they\u2019re supporting Savannah just as she\u2019s supported them over the years.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re all so close with [Savannah], and we all want to help her,\u201d she stated in a clip posted on Instagram<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m looking at us, and I was thinking, who was first in the hospital when [Hoda\u2019s daughter] Hope was sick? Savannah. Who hopped on a plane when [Carson\u2019s] parents \u2026 ? Savannah. Who was sitting by [Sheinelle\u2019s late husband] Uche [Ojeh]<\/a>? How about when [Craig\u2019s] brother passed? She was there.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know, they say love is patient. Love is kind,\u201d Hoda added. \u201cWe\u2019ll be patient and put prayers up. That\u2019s all we can do.\u201d<\/p>\n

When fans saw Hoda rally for Savannah live on the air, they got emotional about the love the two women share.<\/p>\n

\u201cHaving Hoda back for this is \ud83e\udd79\ud83e\udd79\ud83e\udd79 ultimate support and love!\u201d one person wrote in the comments. \u201cI think we all needed to see Hoda today.
