Jordan Dargan is taking a break from the day job to fully focus on Dancing With The Stars<\/a>.<\/p>\nThe Apprentice finalist<\/a> also hopes to break into acting whenever his time in the competition comes to an end.<\/p>\nJordan is the founder of 3D Animation Studio Rendify, but isn\u2019t working on any projects at the moment while competing on the hit RT\u00c9 show.<\/p>\n
He told RSVP Live: \u201cAt the moment I\u2019m full on in this. I\u2019m a man, so I\u2019m not a great multitasker!<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve taken some time off. I run my own 3D animation studio so I was very lucky in the sense that I could say I\u2019m not going to take any projects on for the time I\u2019m on the show.<\/p>\n
\u201cI like to put my all into things. I don\u2019t think about anything else, I don\u2019t do anything else, I just really hone in on what I\u2019m doing.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jordan is no stranger to reality television but hopes to break into acting in the near future.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m acting as well,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve been auditioning a lot, particularly during the show and that\u2019s been quite cool.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnimation is one area of storytelling, dancing is another and then with acting, it is something I seriously want to get into.<\/p>\n
\u201cI just love storytelling.\u201d<\/p>\n
Although he is busy with Dancing With The Stars, Jordan has been keeping up to date with the new season of The Apprentice on BBC<\/a>.<\/p>\nIt features Irish contestant Conor Galvin and Jordan now has a whole new perspective on the show.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cIt\u2019s been cool watching it after being on it.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve never had a season like this, because I just view it completely differently now.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve a lot of sympathy for the contestants \u2013 I know that behind the scenes there\u2019s other stuff going on and what not.<\/p>\n
\u201cI love the Irish guy Conor, he\u2019s been smashing it and he\u2019s coming across very well.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy mam is from Cork so I\u2019m a little bit biased, but I wish him all the best and hope he goes all the way.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jordan earned the first 10s of the season<\/a> on last week\u2019s Dancing With The Stars after an emotional performance to Christy Moore\u2019s The Voyager.<\/p>\nBut he and pro partner Rebecca Scott<\/a> aren\u2019t feeling the pressure to replicate their marks this week.<\/p>\n\u201cIt was the first week where I genuinely didn\u2019t care about the score and I wasn\u2019t thinking about anything external, we were just thinking about what we were doing as a team,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think that\u2019s why we got the 10s. When you\u2019re just focused on what you\u2019re doing for your routine, things just fall into place.<\/p>\n
\u201cThree 10s is a great achievement, don\u2019t get me wrong.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is one point away from a perfect score, so I can\u2019t complain.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jordan has received more attention online since dancing to the nation each Sunday night, saying both men and women have slid into his DMs.<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t really read DMs properly, I see them coming in on my message requests but I don\u2019t pay any mind to them,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a mix of both [men and women] \u2013 and the men don\u2019t hold back.<\/p>\n
\u201cSomeone even made a page of pictures of my feet.\u201d<\/p>\n
