Recently, Keke Palmer<\/a> shared her take on cohabitation in a relationship and, predictably, the internet had thoughts.<\/p>\n The 32-year-old actress and singer appeared on Today<\/em> with Jenna Bush Hager<\/a> and Sheinelle Jones on Monday, February 2, where the conversation turned to the modern dating trend of hashing out big topics like marriage, politics, having kids on a first date. \u201cI could be open, but one thing I need you to know is I never want to live together. I like my alone time,\u201d Palmer said.<\/p>\n The mom of 2-year-old Leodis, whom she shares with ex Darius Jackson, added, \u201cThat’s real. I’m speaking as The Keke,\u201d when Hager pressed whether it was genuinely how she felt.<\/p>\n Keke doubled down further, referencing Whoopi Goldberg: \u201cI just feel like Whoopi Goldberg said it best once. She was like, \u2018I don’t want nobody in my house.\u2019 And I feel that. I’m serious\u2014married, even.\u201d<\/p>\n When Jones asked, \u201cYou’re just gonna live around the corner?\u201d Palmer clarified, \u201cAround the corner would be great. \u2026 You can be in the guest house, we can be on the same land, but I’m over there and he’s over there. At best, separate rooms.\u201d Palmer even admitted she\u2019d never want to share a bathroom. \u201cBut think about how fun it would be to be like, ‘I’m going over to my man’s house.’ Over there, hi husband!\u201d she laughed. \u201cIt keeps it fun and exciting.
