Former Kansas City Royals outfielder and world series winner Terrance Gore has died at the age of 34, according to the MLB. <\/p>\n

Gore played for the Kansas City Royals when they won the American League Championship Series back-to-back in 2014 and 2015, as well as the 2015 World Series. <\/p>\n

“We are heartbroken from the loss of Terrance Gore, and send our love to his family and loved ones,” the Kansas City Royals said in a statement. <\/p>\n

The circumstances surrounding Gore’s death are not clear at this time. <\/p>\n

In a statement, the MLB said it was “shocked and saddened” to learn of Gore’s death. The league remembered the former player as a “speedy outfielder and pinch-running specialist” who stole 43 bases through his regular season career, only to be caught nine times. <\/p>\n

“He was 5-for-6 in Postseason stolen base attempts and stole 324 bases in 11 Minor League seasons,” the MLB said. <\/p>\n

Gore played eight major league seasons from 2014 to 2022, landing stints at the Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers, Atlanta Braves and the New York Mets. <\/p>\n

The Dodgers also expressed their sorrow over Gore’s death on Saturday. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
