Sam Raimi<\/a> believes Rachel McAdams<\/a> was \u201cunderutilized\u201d in his 2022 Marvel film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness<\/a>.<\/p>\n

When discussing their collaboration on Send Help<\/a>, Raimi<\/a>\u2019s survival thriller that stars The Notebook<\/a> actress alongside Dylan O\u2019Brien<\/a>, the director recently told Total Film<\/a> he \u201cpromised\u201d himself he would work with McAdams again following their time collaborating on the Doctor Strange<\/a> sequel. In fact, Raimi noted that he thought she wasn\u2019t utilized to her full potential in the latter film.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst, she was the perfect person because she\u2019s such a brilliant actress,\u201d he said of McAdams starring in Send Help<\/a>. \u201cI had a chance to work with her on my last film and saw how talented she was and actually underutilized.
