Prince William<\/strong><\/a> and Princess Kate Middleton<\/strong><\/a> are addressing the revelations related to late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein<\/strong> as more documents are uncovered.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can confirm The Prince and Princess have been deeply concerned by the continuing revelations. Their thoughts remain focused on the victims,\u201d a spokesperson for the couple said on Monday, February 9, as William, 43, began a three-day visit to Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n

William and Kate, 44, had not yet spoken about the Epstein files, which include information regarding Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor<\/strong>\u2018s connection<\/a> to the disgraced financier. Earlier this month, Prince Edward<\/strong> became the first member of the royal family to address the scandal<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, with the best will in the world, I\u2019m not sure this is the audience that is probably the least bit interested in that,\u201d the Duke of Edinburgh, 61, said at the World Governments Summit in Dubai on February 3 when asked how he was \u201ccoping\u201d with the situation. \u201cThey all came here to listen to education, solving the future.\u201d<\/p>\n

The third round of Epstein documents were released by the United States Justice Department earlier this month, and Andrew\u2019s name came up several times. Andrew\u2019s connection to the late billionaire sex trafficker was exposed in 2019 when the late Virgina Giuffre alleged [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Edward added, \u201cBut no, I think it\u2019s all really important always to remember the victims, and who are the victims in all this, a lot of victims in all this.\u201d<\/p>\n

Epstein died by suicide at age 66 in August 2019 while being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in New York. Last month, more than 100 photos were released<\/a> from the Epstein estate, including three of Andrew, 65, with an unidentified woman.<\/p>\n

The files also included an email sent by Andrew\u2019s ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson<\/strong>, to Epstein with an apparent crude reference<\/a> to her daughter Princess Eugenie<\/strong>. The exchange, which took place in March 2010, began with Epstein asking when a contact named Sarah would visit him in New York City.<\/p>\n

The reply read, \u201cNot sure yet. Just waiting for Eugenie to come back from a shagging weekend!!\u201d<\/p>\n

In a separate email chain from January 2010, Sarah referred to Epstein as a \u201clegend\u201d and wrote, \u201cI really don\u2019t have the words to describe, my love, gratitude for your generosity and kindness. Xx I am at your service. Just marry me.\u201d<\/p>\n

In January 2026, the United States Department of Justice released the latest batch of Epstein Files, which included alleged email correspondence between Epstein and Ferguson. Ferguson allegedly referred to Epstein as a \u201clegend\u201d and [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Andrew\u2019s ties to Epstein have been making headlines since 2019, when the royal was accused of sexual assault<\/a> by the late Virginia Giuffre<\/strong>. She sued Andrew in 2021 for sexual abuse, and the pair settled out of court. Andrew denied the allegations but was officially stripped of his royal titles<\/a> last year.<\/p>\n

\u201cPrince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor,\u201d read a statement from the royal family in October 2025. \u201cHis lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence. Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation.\u201d<\/p>\n
