The singing competition series is officially back for season 24<\/a>, and new episodes are dropping every Monday night at 8 p.m. ET on ABC<\/strong>. In an Instagram video<\/a> on January 28, fans learned that American Idol <\/em>was already filming the Disney Aulani Resort<\/a> portion of the season, which takes place in Kapolei, Hawaii. But that\u2019s not all\u2014the show announced that Keke Palmer <\/strong>and Brad Paisley <\/strong>will be the celebrity mentors helping aspiring artists compete for a spot in the live shows later in season 24.<\/p>\n
