The film, directed by John M. Keller<\/a>, marks the first French and American-accented English speaking role for Indian cinema star Kalki Koechlin<\/a>, who leads an international ensemble opposite French actor El\u00e9a Clair<\/a>. The cast also includes Zach Grenier<\/a>, Thais Sobreira<\/a>, Marie-Christine Adam<\/a>, Julien Jacob<\/a> and Christophe Grundmann<\/a>, who appears following his role in the 2026 Oscar-nominated short \u201cTwo People Exchanging Saliva.\u201d<\/p>\n

Set in a secluded village in the French Pyrenees, the drama follows Olivia, an American writer who returns to her family\u2019s ancestral home \u2013 where her grandmother fled Paris during the Nazi invasion in World War II \u2013 seeking material for a long-stalled novel.
