Michael Douglas<\/a> revealed at the recent TCM Classic Film Festival in New York City that director Oliver Stone<\/a> originally disliked his acting in 1987\u2019s \u201cWall Street\u201d so much that he asked Douglas if he was taking drugs during production.<\/p>\n

\u201cOkay, so we were finishing the second week of filming, and there was a knock on my door. \u2018Hey Mike, it\u2019s s Oliver<\/a>. Can I come in?’\u201d Douglas remembered (via EW). \u201cI say, \u2018Yeah, come on in.\u2019 He comes in the trailer and sits down. He says to me, \u2018You okay?\u2019 I said, \u2018Yeah, I\u2019m okay.\u2019 [He says], \u2018Are you doing drugs?\u2019 I said, \u2018No, I\u2019m not doing drugs.\u2019 And he said, \u2018Because you look like you\u2019ve never acted before in your life.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Douglas informed Stone that he wasn\u2019t watching the film\u2019s dailies to check on his performance \u201cbecause I\u2019m one of those guys…<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
