Megyn Kelly<\/strong><\/a> has entered the chat surrounding Bad Bunny<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show, slamming fellow conservative Meghan McCain<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s support of the Puerto Rican artist\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs if we needed further assurance that the \u2018taste levels\u2019 of conservative America do not align with @MeghanMcCain\u2019s,\u201d the former Fox News<\/em> host, 55, wrote via X<\/a> on Monday, February 9.<\/p>\n

McCain, 41, showed her support<\/a> for Bad Bunny, real name Benito Antonio Mart\u00ednez Ocasio, after he performed during Super Bowl LX at Levi\u2019s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on Sunday, February 8.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sorry but I just genuinely question your taste level if you didn\u2019t enjoy the Bad Bunny halftime show. And everything in life doesn\u2019t have to be ruined with politics,\u201d the former The View<\/em> cohost wrote at the time.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tOne of the most talked-about and widely covered halftime performances in Super Bowl history took place this Sunday, February 8. \u201cQu\u00e9 rico es ser latino,\u201d Bad Bunny declared at the very start of the show at Levi\u2019s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. What followed were 13 minutes filled with symbolism, history, folklore and flavor \u2014 [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kelly\u2019s response to McCain\u2019s support drew a slew of differing reactions, with one person writing, \u201cI didn\u2019t like the song at all..not for any political reason..just couldn\u2019t get into it..not my style of music,\u201d while a second person argued, \u201cLike she said everything doesn\u2019t have to be political. Just give it a rest.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople are allowed to disagree with you,\u201d a third person commented. \u201cThat doesn\u2019t make them your enemy. You don\u2019t have to constantly be on the attack. There\u2019s so much joy in this life\u2026dip your toe in the water,\u201d while a fourth said, \u201cShe\u2019s right! The halftime show was awesome! You are just trolling.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo much cattiness, it\u2019s embarrassing,\u201d a fifth person wrote in response to Kelly\u2019s post.<\/p>\n

Piers Morgan<\/strong> also commented on McCain\u2019s post, writing, \u201cAgreed \ud83d\udc4d.\u201d<\/p>\n

Morgan, 60, later welcomed Kelly onto Piers Morgan Uncensored<\/em><\/a> on Monday to further debate the topic.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat was the problem, Megyn?\u201d Morgan asked. Meghan replied, \u201cA certain male gesture is coming to mind but I\u2019m not sure I can do it on this show.\u201d (Kelly was seemingly referring to Bad Bunny\u2019s famous hip thrust dance move, which he showed off during his Super Bowl 60 performance.)<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cIt wasn\u2019t about what he was actually going to do during the middle of the Super Bowl performance. It\u2019s about him. It\u2019s about him being chosen as the Super Bowl performer. Somebody who\u2019s been an outspoken critic, of course, of the Trump administration and of America.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bad Bunny paid homage to Puerto Rico<\/a> during his performance at the sporting event, walking through a sugar cane field and partying in a casita while performing his songs exclusively in Spanish. The set celebrated local Puerto Rican food vendors, farmers, reggaeton icons Daddy Yankee<\/strong> and Tego Caldero\u0301n<\/strong>, his recent historic Grammys win and more, as well as the inclusion of Latino celebrities like Karol G<\/strong>, Pedro Pascal<\/strong>, Jessica Alba<\/strong> and a surprise performance by Ricky Martin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want something that we can all understand. I don\u2019t think Bad Bunny used his appearance to bash America, but I can\u2019t be sure because I didn\u2019t see any subcaptions on his Spanish-language performance,\u201d Kelly contended.<\/p>\n
