As a creator of art, Remedy Entertainment have gone from strength to strength, with many of their recent releases being critical darlings (<\/i><\/b>FBC: Firebreak aside<\/i><\/b><\/a>). Unfortunately, their titles have been <\/i><\/b>slow burners sales-wise<\/i><\/b><\/a>, <\/i><\/b>with CEO Tero Virtala stepping down late last year<\/i><\/b><\/a>. Now, Remedy has officially revealed that Jean-Charles Gaudechon will serve as the company\u2019s new CEO.<\/i><\/b><\/span>\n<\/p>\n Making the announcement via a press release<\/span><\/a>, the team at Remedy Entertainment officially unveiled their new CEO appointee, <\/span>writing<\/span><\/a>: \u201cRemedy Entertainment Plc\u2019s Board of Directors has today appointed Jean-Charles Gaudechon as the CEO of Remedy Entertainment Plc as of 1st of March 2026.\u201d<\/span>\n<\/p>\n <\/a>\n<\/p>\n Interim CEO \/ co-founder Markus M\u00e4ki will continue to serve the role in the meantime. Speaking on this new position, <\/span>Gaudechon wrote<\/span><\/a>:<\/span>\n<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m excited and honored to join Remedy at a pivotal time. The studio has a unique creative identity and a strong pipeline. My commitment is to protect what makes it special, deliver exceptional games, and scale Remedy in a way that builds lasting value. Remedy has the voice and the ambition to be a pillar of the industry\u2019s future.\u201d<\/span>\n<\/p>\n As mentioned, Remedy Entertainment have been behind some of the most creative games in the AA\/AAA space, and so it is unfortunate to see them struggling somewhat to make it big \u2013 <\/span>necessitating a variety of deals<\/span><\/a> in order to ensure the studio’s future. Hopefully this latest appointment will give them the guidance needed to achieve long-term success.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n
