Real Housewives of New York<\/a> alum Bethenny Frankel<\/a><\/strong> has never tamed down her opinions. The former Housewife alluded that the cast members of the new show, Members Only: Palm Beach<\/a>, were like Walmart Birkins. But the cast members of the new Netflix<\/a> program didn\u2019t feel bad about her rant. If anything, they were thankful for her attention.<\/p>\n Bethenny is revealing her thoughts about Netflix\u2019s new reality TV series, Members Only: Palm Beach. The show is often compared to<\/a> Bravo\u2019s famous Real Housewives <\/a>franchise (but isn\u2019t quite there yet, of course).<\/p>\n Bethenny took to TikTok for a quick rant about the show, comparing the women on the show to Walmart Birkins.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ve got to talk about Members Only: Palm Beach, Bethenny said online. \u201cThis is triggering to so many people in a similar way the Walmart Birkin triggered people because people who had the real Birkin wanted everyone to know how different and elite they are. And it drove them nuts that there was access to the Birkin at all.\u201d<\/p>\n Bethenny went on to say that longtime Palm Beach residents are desperate to separate themselves from the newcomers and new money, and especially those who don\u2019t technically live on the island.<\/p>\n \u201cAll the people in Palm Beach are clamoring to really establish the difference between Palm Beach proper and West Palm,\u201d Bethenny explained. She compared it to the show The Gilded Age, calling the territorial behavior absurd and pretentious.<\/p>\n The girls of Netflix\u2019s newest guilty pleasure, though, aren\u2019t taking offense. In fact, some are taking her words as a compliment. Ro-mina Ustayev<\/a> said she didn\u2019t initially understand Bethenny\u2019s rant, but in the end, she felt supported by Bethenny\u2019s attention.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know if (her comments) were pertaining to me or to the cast, but I think she was defending me,\u201d Ro-mina said. Her friends felt the same, too. \u201cIf that\u2019s true, I\u2019d love to reconnect with her and bring her over to Palm Beach.\u201d<\/p>\n Rosalyn Yellin<\/a>, meanwhile, is loving the attention and the chaos.<\/p>\n \u201cI loved it. Guess what? She\u2019s talking about it,\u201d Rosalyn said. \u201cThe country can talk about it, you can talk about it, people can talk about it.
