Sesame Street<\/em> is back with new episodes next month, and the classic children\u2019s series is bringing Miley Cyrus<\/a> along for the ride.<\/p>\n When the new season premieres March 9 \u2014 the 57th season overall and the second season streaming on Netflix \u2014 Cyrus is among guest stars joining Elmo and company.<\/p>\n More from Billboard<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cHi, Miss Miley!\u201d Elmo says to Cyrus in a new trailer that came out on Monday (Feb. 9). \u201cElmo\u2019s so happy to see you!\u201d In the teaser, Cyrus is seen surrounded by Muppets, including Elmo, Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby, Rosita and Grover, and saying to the group, \u201cImagine what we can do with this<\/em>!,\u201d as she holds a sparkly high heel in the air with a big grin on her face.<\/p>\n Next thing we know, the whole gang appears to be in an animated submarine, exploring underwater and singing.<\/p>\n Watch the trailer below:<\/p>\n You can catch new episodes starting March 9 on Netflix and PBS Kids.<\/p>\n Sesame Street<\/em> first premiered on public television in November 1969 and became a children\u2019s TV institution over the next half-century. It came to PBS starting in 1970 and has aired there ever since, though it\u2019s recently gone through a string of streaming partners, with HBO Max hosting the show from 2016 to 2025 and Netflix taking it over last year.<\/p>\n Cyrus most recently joined forces with her godmother Dolly Parton along with Reba McIntire, Queen Latifah and Lainey Wilson for a new version of \u201cLight of a Clear Blue Morning\u201d for Parton\u2019s 80th birthday last month.
