It\u2019s the first Friday the 13th of 2026 in a couple days and wouldn\u2019t you know it, but the Mardi Gras season will also be in full swing down in New Orleans. So what better time for the boys in Down<\/a> to release a new tune and an accompanying music video?<\/p>\n

In a post on the band\u2019s social media pages, the sludge\/stoner metal supergroup featuring Pantera\u2019s Phil Anselmo, Corrosion of Conformity\u2019s Pepper Keenan, Eyehategod\u2019s Jimmy Bower, and Crowbar\u2019s Kirk Windstein and Patrick Bruders announced the impending video release. <\/p>\n

We\u2019ve known for a while that their fourth full-length studio album is expected to drop some time this year<\/a>, so this would be one way of getting the word out. It\u2019s only been nearly two decades since they last released an album, so what\u2019s a couple more days before we potentially hear some new tunes from Down?
