Ariana Grande<\/strong><\/a> has a cheesy idea<\/span> for a movie about her life.<\/span><\/p>\n

While the <\/span>Wicked<\/span><\/a> star was hesitant when it came to the idea of having her own biopic\u2014joking the film should be called \u201c<\/span>Scrap This and Don’t Watch It<\/span>\u201d\u2014she did have an idea as to who could play her in the hypothetical movie.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cA tiny mouse with subtitles the whole time,\u201d Ariana joked with <\/span>Backstage<\/span> in a video <\/span>posted to Instagram<\/span><\/a> Feb. 9. \u201cI would like that, actually.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt would be a tiny, beautiful short film with mice reenacting my whole life with little, tiny subtitles at the bottom,\u201d the 32-year-old continued. \u201cThat’s the only version of it that I’m interested in.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

And while the \u201c7 Rings\u201d singer is not ready for her own biopic just yet, <\/span>she has taken time to reflect on her career<\/span> now that she\u2019s officially said goodbye to <\/span>Wicked<\/span> and the character of Glinda. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt feels like a beautiful time to put it in a beautiful book on the shelf next to the other <\/span>L. Frank Baum <\/strong>books that I collect,\u201d she <\/span>shared with <\/span>Backstage<\/span><\/a>. \u201cIt does feel like the right time to turn the page and to thankfully and proudly, gratefully let go.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBefore <\/span>Wicked<\/span>, I hadn\u2019t acted in a decade-ish,\u201d Ariana said. \u201cMy pop music career, which I am so endlessly grateful for, had taken on a life of its own, a life that I don\u2019t know I could have predicted or planned for.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

As the former Nickelodeon star explained, her music career made her journey to be cast as Glinda an \u201cuphill <\/span>battle,\u201d because<\/span> people knew her as a pop star and didn\u2019t immediately think of her as an actress. <\/span><\/p>\n

She added, \u201cI had to do a lot of deconstructing to convince a lot of people that I could disappear into her.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

And with Oz now behind her, she can<\/span> hardly believe that she achieved so much.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI know I did the work so that they could,\u201d she said, \u201cbut I still feel as curious and inspired as\u2026the first day I got here.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
