Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Tuesday responded to the criticism received by Salman Khan after he recently attended the 100 Years of Sangh Journey: New Horizons event in Mumbai. Khan\u2019s presence at the RSS-led gathering prompted debate online about the nature of his appearance and its significance. Shinde, in an interview, urged the public to consider Khan\u2019s wider identity and cultural respect, rather than focusing on a single event.<\/p>\n

Bhagwat highlighted Khan’s influence among young people. \u201cCollege students copy Salman Khan\u2019s fashion. When asked why, they say they don\u2019t know. Salman is doing it. The context of good values in society should become a fashion,\u201d he remarked, suggesting that celebrity culture could promote positive societal change.<\/p>\n

While discussion over Khan\u2019s appearance continues, the actor is also in the spotlight for his upcoming film, Battle of Galwan. The film, initially set for release in April, may be delayed until August, potentially resulting in a box office competition with Sunny Deol\u2019s Lahore 1947.<\/p>\n

Khan has faced questions about his look in the teaser for Battle of Galwan, with some fans suggesting it appeared too refined for a war movie. Addressing these views at an ISPL event, the superstar earlier said, \u201cNow, some people think this is a romantic look, but I am playing a Colonel. And this is the look of a Colonel, who knows how to motivate his team and soldiers.\u201d<\/p>\n

He addressed the ongoing discussion about his appearance in the role, saying, \u201cNone of this makes any sense, this look doesn\u2019t mean anything. This is how it has always been and will continue, with everyone\u2019s blessings.”<\/p>\n
