A \u201cReal Housewives of New York City\u201d<\/a> veteran got canned by a new reality show after she went on a social media tirade<\/a> about Bad Bunny\u2019s<\/a> Super Bowl Halftime performance.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Jill Zarin was set to soon start filming \u201cThe Golden Life,\u201d an E! reality series set in Palm Beach, Florida, with other reality show alumni like Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Kelly Bensimon and Sonja Morgan.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n But she got fired on Tuesday<\/a> after posting a now-deleted Instagram video in which she called Bad Bunny\u2019s performance \u201cthe worst halftime show ever\u201d and complained, \u201cIt\u2019s 250 years that we\u2019re celebrating right now in the United States, and I just don\u2019t think it was appropriate to have it in Spanish.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cHe doesn\u2019t have to be grabbing himself every five seconds: Is he so insecure?\u201d she asked.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The Real Housewife noted that she doesn\u2019t speak Spanish, but griped that Bad Bunny\u2019s performance \u201clooked like a political statement, because there were literally no white people in the <\/span>entire <\/span>thing.\u201d She then speculated about one of the white people<\/a> in the performance getting a facelift.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Although Zarin quickly deleted the post, it was saved for posterity by X user @gibsonoma.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Zarin\u2019s hot take quickly went viral, earning her criticism on \u201cThe View\u201d<\/a> \u2014 and prompting Blink49 Studios, which is producing \u201cThe Golden Life,\u201d to cut ties with her on Tuesday, citing her \u201crecent public comments.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Not even Zarin\u2019s own daughter, Ally Shapiro, agreed with her remarks, reportedly posting an Instagram Story saying that she loved the halftime show.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201c<\/span>Best halftime show in years. Which honestly is weird to even call it that it was like a true performance with a story line and actors and the direction, lighting everything was perfect,\u201d Shapriro said, according to US Weekly.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Zarin Fabrics, once owned by Zarin\u2019s late husband, Bobby, also distanced itself from the reality TV star in an Instagram post that featured her face with an \u201cX\u201d over it.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cZarin Fabrics stands firmly against racism, discrimination, and rhetoric that seeks to exclude or diminish people based on identity, culture, or background,\u201d the post began, before noting that Zarin has not been associated with the company for several years.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cOur company operates independently, and any public statements attributed to her are made in a personal capacity and do not reflect our values, beliefs, or operations,\u201d the post read, adding that Zarin Fabrics condemns \u201c<\/span>language or viewpoints that undermine those principles, and we remain committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment in everything we do.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
