Primary Waves now acquires the rights of Britney Spears catalog, which includes hit tracks like Oops!… I Did It Again<\/i>\u00a0<\/span>and\u00a0… Baby One More Time.<\/i><\/p>\n

As per reports by The Hollywood Reporter <\/i>and TMZ<\/i>, the superstar sold off her rights to the most iconic music catalogue to the music company.<\/p>\n

The catalogue has more hit songs like Gimme More, Circus, <\/i>and Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman<\/i>, among others.<\/p>\n

Primary Wave is one of the most-active companies in the catalog acquisition space, having previously purchased catalogs from the likes of Stevie Nicks as well as the estates of Prince and Biggie Smalls. A rep for Primary Wave declined to comment.<\/p>\n

On December 30, 2025, the 44-year-old pop star sold her publishing rights to Primary Wave Music in a deal reportedly worth a low nine-figure sum, on par with Justin Bieber\u2019s $200 million sale. <\/p>\n

Sources say she\u2019s overjoyed, celebrating the milestone with her two sons, especially following her recent decision to retire from performing in the U.S.<\/p>\n
