Investigators searching for answers in the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie are reportedly back to square one.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
On Tuesday night, authorities confirmed that they had detained a man during a traffic stop in a location south of Tucson, the source said, and law enforcement is preparing to search a location associated with the individual.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
In the interview with the network, the man, who identified himself as “Carlos,” says he was held at the scene of the initial traffic stop for hours.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
“They didn’t even tell me what’s going on until the detectives got here… They told me I was being detained for kidnapping, and I asked them, ‘Kidnapping of who?'” he told ABC Arizona’s Ford Hatchett.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
This update comes after authorities in Rio Rico, Arizona, which is around 60 miles south of Tucson, were seen searching a vehicle in connection with the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, according to footage filmed by celebrity.land on the scene.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
The Pima County Sheriff\u2019s confirmed that the vehicle, a gray SUV, was the one pulled over during a traffic stop, during which a person was stopped and taken in for questioning.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
