The news comes just hours after the FBI released black-and-white photos and surveillance footage<\/a> from Nancy\u2019s home that showed a masked individual with an apparent stored gun in their waistband seemingly trying to break a camera by Nancy\u2019s front door.<\/p>\nUs Weekly<\/em> has reached out to the FBI and Pima County Sheriff\u2019s department.<\/p>\nFBI Director Kash Patel<\/strong> later addressed the footage in a statement via X, writing, \u201cNew images in the search for Nancy Guthrie. Over the last eight days, the FBI and Pima County Sheriff\u2019s Department have been working closely with our private sector partners to continue to recover any images or video footage from Nancy Guthrie\u2019s home that may have been lost, corrupted, or inaccessible due to a variety of factors \u2013 including the removal of recording devices. The video was recovered from residual data located in backend systems.\u201d<\/p>\nHe continued, \u201cWorking with our partners \u2014 as of this morning, law enforcement has uncovered these previously inaccessible new images showing an armed individual appearing to have tampered with the camera at Nancy Guthrie\u2019s front door the morning of her disappearance.\u201d<\/p>\n
