Bethenny Frankel took aim at Bad Bunny and then backtracked on her opinion after sharing her views on his Super Bowl 2026 performance.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Real Housewives of New York City<\/a> star has been slammed by her fans after deleting a video of her original reaction to the Puerto Rican superstar’s halftime show on Sunday, February 8. Bethenny, 55, came under fire when one X user reposted the video where they claimed the reality star has admitted she couldn\u2019t \u201cwait to get canceled for this.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In the clip Bethenny asked, \u201cShould these entertainment vehicles \u2014 the Grammys, the Emmys, the Oscars, the Super Bowl<\/a> \u2014 should this be the place for personal, cultural, political views to be expressed?” She then continued, \u201cCertainly, there are major world events that take place, whether COVID or tragedies, 9\/11, and it\u2019s unavoidable that it\u2019s discussed, but where is the line?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She then compared Bad Bunny\u2019s performance to \u201cDave Chapelle expressing transphobic views onstage in 2021. She also drew comparisons with Richard Gere \u201cgetting into trouble\u201d in the past and with Billie Eilish taking aim at ICE during her Grammys 2026 acceptance speech.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Bethenny continued, \u201cWhere is the line?\u201d before pointing out that TV personalities Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos aren\u2019t \u201callowed to express any opinions about anything going on\u201d during \u201cLive With Kelly and Mark.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She concluded, \u201cThat show… they can barely discuss anything going on. It\u2019s an entertainment vehicle, and they keep it that way.\u201d However, Bethenny appeared to have a change of heart, deleting that video and then sharing another.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In the second recording, she celebrated Bad Bunny and praised him for exercising his right to \u201cexpress [himself],\u201d a change of heart that prompted her followers to call her out. One fan slammed her for the fact she had \u201cchanged [her] tune.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A second said, \u201cThat\u2019s right. You better walk it back quick,\u201d while a third added, \u201cNahh, put your original video back up.\u201d Bethenny has since also deleted the second video.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

According to Page Six, an insider has shared that Bethenny \u201clove[d] the show\u201d and \u201coften shares her thoughts in real time, so her content is always evolving during pop-culture moments like this.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Bethenny wasn’t the only Housewives star to share their opinion on Bad Bunny’s Spanish-language performance for the Super Bowl.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Taylor Armstrong of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills gave her own scathing take on the show as she admitted her “embarrassment” for the NFL.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
