Greenwich Entertainment<\/a> has acquired worldwide rights to \u201cThe Scout<\/a>,\u201d the directorial debut of Paula Gonz\u00e1lez-Nasser<\/a> who also wrote the script. The film had its world premiere in the U.S. Narrative Competition section at the Tribeca Festival. Greenwich will release the film in theaters across the country later this year.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Scout<\/a>\u201d follows a location scout, played by Mimi Davila<\/a>, over the course of one day as she connects with a handful of New York City residents while struggling to lock down shooting locations for a TV show. The film also stars Rutanya Alda<\/a>, Otmara Marrero<\/a>, Max Rosen<\/a>, Sarah Herrman<\/a>, Ikechukwu Ufomadu<\/a>, and Matt Barats<\/a>. Critics embraced the film, with the Av Club<\/a> calling it a \u201ccharming, awkward, funny debut.\u201d<\/p>\n
