Missouri University of Science and Technology\u2019s arts, languages, and philosophy department will present their winter band concert this February.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The performance will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall,\u00a0located\u00a0at the corner of 10th and Main Street on the Missouri S&T campus. The wind symphony will be directed by Dr. David Samson, assistant professor of music at Missouri S&T.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThe University Wind Symphony is excited to share this program of music inspired from around the world.\u00a0We\u2019ll\u00a0take you on a musical journey to Russia, Japan,\u00a0England\u00a0and back home to America. We\u2019ll also be sharing the stage with two of our fantastic student-led ensembles, the Movie Music Ensemble and Saxophone Choir.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
Tickets are $5 for the public and free to youth, ages 18 and under, and Missouri S&T students with a valid ID. Tickets can be\u00a0purchased\u00a011 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday from the Leach Theatre Box Office,\u00a0located\u00a0inside the main entrance to Castleman Hall, facing 10th Street.
