For the second time in two days, the Hamilton Southeastern Royals scored more than 80 points.<\/p>\n
For the second straight game, the Class 4A Royals won big. This time at Muncie Central, 85-51, on Wednesday to win their fourth consecutive.<\/p>\n
The Royals\u2019 current streak began on Jan. 31 against 4A Pendleton Heights, 76-72, reached new heights Tuesday against Class A Indianapolis Metro, 94-66, with a season-high point total and continues to roll towards their Sectional 8 preview with 4A Carmel on Friday.<\/p>\n
Senior Luke Weemer led the Royals (11-9) inside Muncie Central Fieldhouse with a game-high 18 points and seven rebounds.<\/p>\n
He was joined by senior Landon Osswald with 16 points and sophomore Varschon Clark with 10 to give HSE three players in double figures.<\/p>\n
HSE led 19-14 after the first quarter before building a 53-26 advantage by halftime behind a 34-point second frame.<\/p>\n
The Royals tallied 23 points off turnovers and shot 61 percent from the floor, including 7 of 14 from 3-point range.<\/p>\n
Weemer went 6-for-10 from the field and 5-for-5 from the free-throw line, while Osswald was 5-for-6 and a flawless 6-for-6 from the foul line.<\/p>\n
Senior Maverick Young had 9 points on 3-for-5 shooting from deep.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n
