A new national report from the Night Time Industries Association (NTIA) finds audiences growing and regional scenes surging amid an increasingly fragile club sector. You can read the full Fourth Electronic Music Report from NTIA here<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n The report finds that the UK electronic music generated over \u00a32 billion in measurable economic activity in 2025, up 3% year-on-year, despite the loss of more than one in three nightclubs since 2020.\u00a0<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The UK continues to punch above its weight internationally, ranking second in the world for electronic music artist development, however the report warns that this success masks the growing infrastructure issues, such as the accelerating collapse of mid-tier venues. 15% of UK venues now fall within the critical 500\u20132,500 capacity range, which creates bottlenecks for emerging artists attempting to progress beyond grassroots level.\u00a0<\/p>\n Electronic music audiences are also seen to be shifting away from venues, as free parties and activity in alternative and informal spaces grow.
