During a recent street style sighting in New York City earlier this month, the Oscar-winning actor proved that even the most casual of garments can be elevated with clever styling and high-fashion accessories.<\/p>\n

Lawrence beat the below-freezing temperatures in a long dark-gray wool coat by the Row, which she sensibly layered over a Patagonia puffer zip-up jacket with a hoodie and a white T-shirt. Other notable winter gear included classic caramel Ugg booties, a leopard-print shearling bucket hat from Loewe, and white leather gloves. For a pop of color, Lawrence slung a yellow crossbody bag with an asymmetrical silhouette from Herm\u00e8s.<\/p>\n

But the underrated centerpiece of this mom-off-duty outfit was Lawrence\u2019s choice of bottoms: a bright red pair of sweatpants from FreeCity. The small Hollywood-based brand has developed a celebrity cult following for its luxurious loungewear. Dakota Johnson has recently been photographed wearing the sweats, and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen (Lawrence\u2019s style muses) even sell them at their the Row Hamptons location.
