Nevermore have officially signed with Reigning Phoenix Music and announced the full lineup, something we\u2019ve been waiting for since the<\/span> end of 2024<\/span><\/a>. After all the guesses and predictions for who would be on bass, guitar, and vocals, it\u2019s safe to say many of us were wrong. Here it is, the 2026 rendition of Nevermore features guitarist Jack Cattoi, bassist Semir \u00d6zerkan (Oceans of Slumber), and vocalist Berzan \u00d6nen alongside returning members Jeff Loomis (guitar) and Van Williams (drums). The band\u2019s first live appearance for this rendition will take place on April 1, 2026, in Istanbul, Turkey. A newly released documentary, directed by Ola Englund, offers a behind-the-scenes look at rehearsals earlier this year in Sweden, previewing performances of classics such as \u201cThe River Dragon Has Come,\u201d \u201cEngines of Hate,\u201d and \u201cThe Heart Collector.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cHe really stood out strong in so many ways upon a first listen. I could really feel the emotion and passion when I heard him sing for the first time. He wasn\u2019t just going through the motions.\u201d The connection was immediate. \u201cI could tell right away that he was a fan of Warrel\u2019s singing just by the way he delivered and said certain words.
