February 13, 2026 – The Beer City Cup<\/a>, the Asheville-based adult soccer tournament series that is the largest of its kind in the country, is hosting its fourth annual event in Savannah.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Taking place Feb. 28 to March 1\u00a0at Jennifer Ross Soccer Complex; the event sold out in 2025, and this year will also feature a sold-out 100+ team event.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The 100+ teams, spread across 13 different age divisions, will compete for nearly $50,000 in cash prizes. Los Angeles, New York City, Washington DC, Salt Lake City, Boston, New Jersey, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Florida, Maryland, Virginia, Tennessee, Alabama, North and South Carolina and Georgia are all represented by teams, while individual players will travel from 35 States and 5 Countries. The players range from 18-70 years old.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

An action-packed weekend features a round-robin style format on Saturday and continues with knockout-round play on Sunday. Games consist of two 25-minute halves and use an 8v8 format, which contributes to nonstop exciting play and increased scoring.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Over the course of the two-day event, teams are eliminated until Sunday afternoon, when only the finalists are left to compete for the cash prizes. The semifinals and finals take place from 12-5 p.m. on Sunday, March 1.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Admission for spectators at the family-friendly event is free. Food trucks, coffee and beer are available onsite to contribute to the festival-like atmosphere. Beers from Savannah\u2019s own Coastal Empire, including a special edition Beer City Cup IPA,\u00a0 and national brand Sierra Nevada will be featured as well as a variety of others.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re thrilled about hosting our 4th annual event here in Savannah,” said\u00a0Co-Tournament Director Eric Usher.\u00a0“We think it will be our best one yet. The action and atmosphere is unbelievable!\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The 4th annual Savannah event showcases a Men\u2019s Elite Division, which will be competing for $20,000 and 3 Premier Divisions (Women\u2019s, Men\u2019s and Coed) with teams competing for a $5,000 cash prize. Multiple teams that have entered the \u201cOne Million Dollar Prize\u201d soccer tournament are in the Beer City Cup Savannah field.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
