Nancy Guthrie<\/strong>\u2018s neighbors are finding ways to publicly show support as the search continues<\/a> for Savannah Guthrie<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s missing mother.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is important to show support for your neighbors,\u201d one man told Today<\/em><\/a> in a segment that aired on Friday, February 13, after showing off yellow ribbons tied around trees on his property. \u201cEspecially in a very trying time like this.\u201d<\/p>\n

A local flower shop is also fielding a rush of orders for yellow flowers, which signify hope and support. \u201cWe\u2019re happy to be able to contribute,\u201d an employee told Today. \u201cIf it brings any comfort or relief to the family, it\u2019s nice to be able to be involved in that.\u201d<\/p>\n

The segment then showed footage of a sign outside a local TV station in Arizona which read, \u201cBring her home.\u201d Members of the community were seen leaving messages to Nancy, 84, and her family.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy heart breaks,\u201d one woman said. \u201cEveryone feels like they\u2019re going through it with [Savannah]. We are with her.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hoda Kotb<\/strong>, who has been filling in for Savannah, 54, on the Today show throughout the ordeal, shared a similar message on Friday. \u201cPeople want to do something. You feel helpless,\u201d she said. \u201cYou want to show support and even [here in New York City], someone made a special sign. They are on the lips of every person outside when we go to say hello.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nancy was reported missing on February 1<\/a>, one day after she was last seen in Arizona. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos later noted that there were \u201cconcerning circumstances\u201d found in Nancy\u2019s home.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s very alert, she\u2019s of good, sound mind,\u201d he told reporters, adding that Nancy is \u201cnot in good\u201d physical health. \u201cI hope we find her safe and sound, but we can\u2019t ignore what\u2019s in front of us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Savannah has been absent from Today<\/em><\/a> amid her mother\u2019s disappearance, previously sharing a statement from her family with the morning show on February 2.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn behalf of our family, I want to thank everyone for the thoughts, prayers and messages of support,\u201d the statement read. \u201cRight now, our focus remains on the safe return of our dear mom. We thank law enforcement for their hard work on this case and encourage anyone with information to contact the Pima County Sheriff\u2019s Department.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSavannah Guthrie\u2019s mom, Nancy Guthrie, has been reported missing in Arizona. \u201cThis is very concerning to us. We don\u2019t typically get the sheriff out at a scene like this. But it\u2019s very concerning what we\u2019re learning from the house,\u201d Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said in a press conference on Sunday, February 1. \u201cAnd so [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While the investigation continues, several ransom letters were allegedly received by TMZ and local news outlets. A demand has also been made from an unknown sender claiming to have information on who took Nancy, offering to identify the suspect in exchange for 1 Bitcoin.<\/p>\n

Savannah and her siblings, meanwhile, are holding out hope for Nancy\u2019s safe return. \u201cWe believe our mom is still out there,\u201d she said via Instagram on Monday, February 9. \u201cWe are in an hour of desperation.\u201d<\/p>\n
