Regina Richards, Ph.D., will appear as a guest scholar. The production is directed by local stage and documentary director donnie l. betts.<\/p>\n<p>The series traces its origins to journalist and activist Richard Durham, who created the original \u201cDestination Freedom\u201d radio program from 1948 to 1950. Durham used the medium to challenge harmful stereotypes and highlight struggles for social and economic freedom.
