Vertical<\/a> has acquired the North American rights to The Wizard of the Kremlin<\/a>, director Olivier Assayas\u2019 political thriller that bowed in Venice.<\/p>\n

The film stars stars Jude Law<\/a> as Vladimir Putin<\/a> and Paul Dano<\/a> as the Russian president\u2019s master propagandist, with the ensemble cast including Alicia Vikander<\/a>, Tom Sturridge<\/a>, Will Keen<\/a> and Jeffrey Wright<\/a>. Vertical plans a theatrical release later this year.<\/p>\n
