It\u2019s official: Kelly Clarkson<\/strong><\/a> is saying goodbye to daytime TV.<\/p>\n

Fans have watched Kelly headline her own talk series, The Kelly Clarkson Show<\/em><\/a>, since it premiered in September 2019. Over the last seven years, she\u2019s performed multiple Kellyoke covers<\/a>, interviewed fellow celebrities, and she even created new music along the way. Folks loved tuning in every weekday on NBC to see what Kelly had up her sleeve for viewers.<\/p>\n

Most recently, Kelly turned to Instagram to share some surprising news about the future of her TV career. In an emotional Instagram post<\/a> published on February 2, she told fans that The Kelly Clarkson Show <\/em>will end after seven seasons on NBC. The original American Idol <\/em>winner<\/a> got sentimental about what this hosting journey has meant to her, and opened up about the decision to end the daytime series. Kelly says she wants to be more available for her two kids<\/a>, daughter River Rose <\/strong>and son Remington \u201cRemy\u201d Alexander<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have been extremely fortunate to work with such an outstanding group of people at TKCS<\/em>, both in Los Angeles and New York,\u201d she began. \u201cThere have been so many amazing moments and shows over these seven seasons \u2026 Because of all of that, this was not an easy decision\u2014but this season will be my last hosting TKCS<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n
