Taylor Swift released the extended version of her \u201cOpalite\u201d music video<\/a> this morning, and now she has a remix of the song coming, thanks to her fianc\u00e9, Travis Kelce<\/a>. The singer shared a screenshot of Kelce\u2019s DM conversation with DJ Chris Lake, who did the remix. \u201cConfirmed, Travis is my in-house house guy,\u201d she captioned it.<\/p>\n

Lake had reached out to Kelce in January, writing that he\u2019d \u201ctake a crack\u201d at remixing \u201cOpalite.\u201d Kelce admitted he was a big fan and couldn\u2019t contain himself (or his emoji use) when he heard the remix for the first time. \u201cBro how tf do you put shit together this fast, man?\u201d he asked. He added that Swift \u201cloves it too! She said her team\u2019s gonna reach out ASAP.\u201d<\/p>\n

This marks a rare glimpse of how Kelce has played a role in Swift\u2019s music career beyond being a muse<\/a> and support system for the star.<\/p>\n

In October, she spoke more about how supportive they are of each other\u2019s careers<\/a> during a BBC Radio 2 interview. The singer had been shutting down rumors that she\u2019d quit making music after she and Kelce get married.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love the person that I am with because he loves what I do, and he loves how much I am fulfilled by making art and making music,\u201d she said. \u201cThat\u2019s the coolest thing about Trav: He is so passionate about what he does that me being passionate about what I do, it connects us. There\u2019s no point in time where he\u2019s going to be like, \u2018I\u2019m really upset that you\u2019re still making music, the music thing that I signed up for, that I knew you loved, I thought you were going to stop doing that.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

The support goes both ways, she added, revealing that their careers actually have a lot in common. \u201cIt just is the most fun thing in the world to be able to support each other and the polarity of how different our jobs are,\u201d she said. \u201cBut there\u2019s a lot of similarities, too. We both as a living, as a job, as a passion, perform for three-and-a-half hours in NFL stadiums. We both do three-and-a-half hour shows to entertain people…in NFL stadiums. When I\u2019m in those stadiums, it\u2019s a dressing room. But when he\u2019s in those exact same stadiums, it\u2019s a locker room. For him, it\u2019s practice. For me, it\u2019s rehearsal. For him, it\u2019s a game; for me, it\u2019s a show. We just call them different things. We both have teams. It\u2019s a very similar thing, and we\u2019re both competitive in fun ways\u2014not in ways that eat away at us, but we just love it.\u201d<\/p>\n
