If you thought Ice-T<\/a> would cave to online criticism over his take on Bad Bunny\u2019s Super Bowl halftime show<\/a>, think again.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The rap legend applauded Bad Bunny\u2019s Spanish-language performance in a post on X <\/a>early Monday, calling it \u201cdope.\u201d At the same time, he dismissed the conservative backlash<\/a> that the halftime show had received, noting: \u201cAnd I don\u2019t give a F how you feel about it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In a follow-up post, Ice-T shared a post <\/a>from the online music outlet My Mixtapez which pointed out the halftime show\u2019s massive ratings alongside a photo of President Donald Trump<\/a> looking flustered. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cHaters can Hate\u2026.. But they ALWAYS lose\u2026. Always,\u201d he quipped. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It wasn\u2019t long, however, before an outraged fan responded<\/a> by proclaiming Ice-T \u201cdone for me,\u201d vowing never to tune into \u201cLaw & Order: Special Victims Unit\u201d to catch the rapper\u2019s long-running portrayal of Odafin \u201cFin\u201d Tutuola ever again. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201c[If \u2018SVU\u2019] even thinks about bringing him back even part time, I\u2019m out and have watched this show from the beginning,\u201d the person wrote Tuesday<\/a>. \u201cThis is just sad that he had to go and open his mouth again. This show will be done if people see him back on the show.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

True to form, Ice-T didn\u2019t miss a beat and sarcastically replied,<\/a> \u201cBitch please don\u2019t leave!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Moments later, he offered a more thoughtful retort by reminding the X user \u2015 as well as his legions of other fans \u2015 he\u2019s never apologized for speaking his mind since the start of his career. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Despite widespread acclaim<\/a>, the performance received a resounding thumbs-down from Trump<\/a> and a host of other prominent Republicans<\/a>. One GOP lawmaker is now calling<\/a> for the NFL to undergo \u201ca formal congressional inquiry\u201d given the show\u2019s embrace of \u201cgay pornography\u201d and \u201cpure smut.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
