Lisa Whelchel<\/strong>\u00a0rose to international stardom as Blair Warner, the snobby rich girl on the hit ’80s sitcom<\/a>The Facts of Life. But one look at the blonde beauty in 2026 makes it clear she has barely changed that much since her days on TV.<\/p>\n Whelchel, 62, starred in the popular series about the ups and downs of the young girls at the Eastland School alongside\u00a0Kim Fields<\/strong>,\u00a0Mindy Cohn<\/strong>, and\u00a0Nancy McKeon<\/strong>. Also known as a prominent public speaker and reality star, Whelchel took to Instagram this week to announce that she’s got something big brewing.<\/p>\n “I haven’t published anything in almost 20 years, and I’m kinda getting ready to do it, and it’s going to be free. One glance at the photo makes it clear that the apple didn\u2019t fall far from the tree, because her granddaughter is a dead ringer for her\u00a0grandma<\/a>!<\/p>\n \u201cNew kindergarten school picture just dropped and my CoCoMaMa\u2019s heart just burst. When Whelchel was asked earlier this year where her iconic\u00a0Facts of Life\u00a0character would be these days, she instantly knew the answer.<\/p>\n \u201cI can absolutely imagine her on Instagram,\u201d Whelchel told\u00a0Entertainment Weekly<\/a>. \u201cAnd I think she\u2019d have a huge following, of course, because she would have lived this big, exciting\u00a0life.
