Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet has recently shared his honest thoughts on movie promotions and theatres release.<\/p>\n

The Marty Supreme<\/i> star made his appearance at the Los Angeles Theatre for a Q&A session on February 14, where he talked about his past projects with Netflix and missing out the traditional theatrical release.<\/p>\n

During the conversation, Chalamet admitted he enjoyed promoting his movies and even the press tours as well.<\/p>\n

Speaking to DJ and Apple Music podcast host Zane Lowe, the Wonka<\/i> actor said, \u201cIf you put out a movie theatrically, what I\u2019ve felt \u2014 based on my experience with The King <\/i>or Don\u2019t Look Up<\/i> \u2014 is that it\u2019s just more of a moment.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chalamet explained, \u201cIt sounds like cheesy marketing talk, but it\u2019s more ceremonial. It\u2019s more drumroll.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I think it\u2019s hard when something goes direct to streaming \u2026 to do that,\u201d noted the 30-year-old actor.<\/p>\n

Interestingly, Chalamet further said that he\u2019s a proponent of theatrical release more than\u00a0 movies released on streaming giants.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was going to contrast my prior point there, but then people supported it with applause and now I\u2019m afraid,\u201d remarked the Dune <\/i>actor.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Chalamet also opened up that he could not relate to his contemporaries who don\u2019t enjoy movie promotions.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, I relish it,\u201d declared the Call Me By Your Name<\/i> actor. <\/p>\n

Chalamet added, \u201cThis is the aspirational hip-hop part of me.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
