Hollywood power couple Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn have managed to maintain one of the few enduring high-profile relationships in the limelight, spanning over four decades. Despite their long-term relationship, the pair have never tied the knot; instead, they have created a robust blended family with their three adult sons, a daughter, and seven grandchildren.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Although they initially crossed paths in 1967, Goldie confessed she was resolved not to date him due to his age, recalling: “I was 21 and he was 16 and I thought he was adorable, but he was much too young.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“And then years later we met up again, and I liked him, and I remembered that I liked him very much when I first met him. But we both said we would never go out with another actor, so it just shows you never can tell,” the star previously shared on Desert Island Discs on BBC Radio 4.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

During a 2017 guest appearance on the talk show Harry, Kurt reminisced about their first date, which nearly ended in catastrophe after an evening out that ended with them heading to Goldie’s house, which was undergoing renovations at the time, reports the Express.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The actor recounted: “We eventually found our way upstairs, looking around at imaginary furniture, and we were in the imaginary bedroom, now, and we are realistically having sex.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Russell elaborated: “The police walked in because we had to break into the place to get in,” leading the duo to escape to a hotel, where they wrapped up their night.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“That was our first date,” the actor reminisced. “It was a lot of fun, I’ll tell you what. I can’t believe it was a long time ago.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In 1986, Goldie and Kurt welcomed their first child together, Wyatt, now 39, who has since followed in their Hollywood footsteps.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He joined the couple’s blended family, which included Goldie’s children with her ex-husband Bill Hudson, Oliver and Kate, as well as Russell’s son Boston, from his previous marriage to Season Hubley.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Despite their lasting relationship, Goldie asserted that she has no intention of marrying Russell, stating that she “would have been long divorced if [she’d] been married,” and they don’t believe that marriage “cements” a relationship.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Earlier this month, rumors surfaced of a potential rift over political differences, according to an insider quoted by the National Enquirer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
