Teyana Taylor has recently confessed being starstruck by Julia Roberts after meeting her at the 2026 Golden Globes last month.<\/p>\n

The One Battle After Another<\/i> actress gushes over Julia ahead of accepting her Virtuosos Award at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on February 8.<\/p>\n

Speaking to PEOPLE<\/i>, Teyana says, \u201cEverybody knows that I love Julia and I’m obsessed with her.\u201d<\/p>\n

All\u2019s Fair<\/i> actress recalls that Julia \u201cwas on the carpet at the same time I was on the carpet, but it was the part where it’s all the videos and stuff happening, so we weren\u2019t in front of cameras\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey brought her over and I looked, and I started backing up and my eyes was watering and she was coming closer,\u201d she continues. <\/p>\n

Teyana explains, \u201c\u2019Don’t come an inch closer.\u2019 And she was coming closer, and then I just dived into her arms and it was just so amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were like instant besties,\u201d mentions the Straw<\/i> actress.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the interview, Teyana shares she got emotional after looking at Julia\u2019s shocking reaction to her winning Best Supporting Actress for her role as Perfidia in the Paul Thomas Anderson-directed drama. <\/p>\n

\u201cShe was standing up when I won and I just dived into her arms again, and it was just so amazing,\u201d she remarks.<\/p>\n

Teyana adds, \u201cJulia is my bestie in my head, even if she doesn\u2019t know it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
