Love Island viewers voiced the same grievance within minutes of this evening’s episode after a “cringe” moment left them “muting” their televisions<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This evening’s ITV2 instalment featured the fallout from a brutal game that resulted in tears and an unexpected dumping. Last week saw Maya Jama<\/a> return to present the To Be Honest game, which had Islanders selecting one couple they believed best matched the given categories.<\/p>\n

With topics including biggest game players, tensions quickly escalated with Lucinda Strafford fleeing in tears, prompting presenter Maya to intervene and provide comfort. In another dramatic turn, the game concluded with Sher and Jack being unexpectedly eliminated from the Love Island<\/a> villa.<\/p>\n

This evening (February 15) witnessed the boys departing the villa for a morning excursion after Sean received a text stating: “Boys it’s time to swap Villa chats for a kickabout, you’re off for a game of footy, please get ready to leave the Villa.”<\/p>\n

Shortly afterwards, the girls received their own message revealing they would be connecting with their loved ones through video calls from home, reports OK!<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Yet as fans anticipated hearing what would be discussed following the video calls, audiences found themselves cringing at their screens. The boys were shown playing five-a-side football, with Scott and Harrison assuming their positions as team captains.<\/p>\n

Following team selection, the lads proceeded to play some football, but viewers remained unimpressed. Taking to X, one viewer posted: “Why am I cringing at them playing football.”<\/p>\n

Another viewer remarked: “Had to mute my laptop because there’s something so cringe about watching these pretty boys play footy idk esp bc some of them are american.”<\/p>\n

One frustrated audience member vented: “Can they stop wasting time and showing the boys, we never cared about them.”<\/p>\n

Despite this, the brief segment showed the Islanders enjoying a drama-free afternoon together. Sharing a photograph of Sean and Scott, one person wrote: “Enemies to lovers arc.”<\/p>\n
