Tim Very<\/strong>, drummer for indie band Manchester Orchestra, has died at age 42.<\/p>\n

The news was announced by his bandmates via Manchester Orchestra\u2019s Instagram<\/a> account on Sunday, February 15. \u201cThe entire Manchester Orchestra family has been devastated by the sudden passing of our brother, Timothy Very,\u201d the post read. \u201cThe most beloved human being any of us were lucky enough to know in this life. We\u2019ve all been dreading sharing this news as we are all still in absolute disbelief.\u201d<\/p>\n

No cause of death was disclosed.<\/p>\n

The post continued, \u201cTim was instantly likable and interacted with everyone he met with kindness and warmth. His laugh was infectious and he immediately made people feel invited and encouraged. His humor and energy were the very foundation that held together the entire MO universe. Strangers quickly became friends and friends became family.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tJanet Gough\/AFF-USA.com\/MEGA; Karwai Tang\/WireImage Josh Devine, best known as the drummer of One Direction, reacted to Liam Payne\u2019s shocking death at age 31. \u201cHeartbreaking news,\u201d Devine, 33, wrote via Instagram Story on Thursday, October 17. \u201cI just pray for Liam\u2019s family and all that knew and loved him.\u201d Devine added, \u201cSome of my fav memories [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A photo of Very, taken from behind during a performance by the Atlanta, Georgia-based rockers, was included in the post. In the snap, Very held his arms in the air victoriously as a thick crowd of fans watched on from below the stage.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe had an undeniable light that was only matched by his dedication and love for the craft that he was clearly put on earth to do,\u201d the post continued. \u201cNo words can ever do him justice. Please know, if you are someone who loved Tim, he loved you too.\u201d<\/p>\n

The post also noted that Very was a father. \u201cThe only thing that Tim loved more than creating music was being with his family. You\u2019d be pressed to find a more joyful dad,\u201d it read. \u201cWe love you Tim, thank you for loving us. You are a force of positivity that will be a constant presence in the rest of our days.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fellow musicians shared their condolences within the post\u2019s comments section including Riley Breckenridge<\/strong> from the Californian rock band Thrice. \u201cHeartbreaking. He was such a ray of light, such a force of joy and positivity, and so unbelievably talented. He was truly one of one. Love you guys. I\u2019m so sorry,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n

New York City-based session drummer, Tucker Rule<\/strong>, also commented, \u201cI\u2019m so sorry to hear this \ud83d\udc94.\u201d<\/p>\n
