Jacob Elordi has recently admitted he\u2019s not fond of social media and tries to keep himself away from it.<\/p>\n

The Kissing Booth<\/i> star reveals the reason behind staying away from online world in a new interview with CBS Sunday Morning<\/i>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have no relationship with social media because my dream was to be an actor. My dream was to play in the movies,\u201d says the 28-year-old.<\/p>\n

Jacob explains that he sees himself \u201cexactly how I dreamed it,\u201d so for now, he can only handle that.<\/p>\n

In the past, the Euphoria <\/i>actor did have an Instagram account but then he decided to deactivate it\u00a0 back in 2024.<\/p>\n

Another reason to staying offline is to keep his private life \u201cprivate\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have a pretty strong refusal to lose my life to an industry\u2026 I consider myself an actor and just an actor,\u201d mentions the Wuthering Heights<\/i> actor.<\/p>\n

For Jacob, life is outside the movie set and he hardly tries to think himself as a Hollywood star.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt doesn’t really factor into my reality\u2026 I have so much love in my life, and the relationships I have in my life are so present and real\u2026 I was raised in such a sort of authentic and true way,\u201d points out the Priscilla<\/i> actor.<\/p>\n

Before concluding, Jacob adds, \u201cI feel so deeply here that, I don’t know, the idea of this industry and stuff \u2014 it doesn’t really factor into my day-to-day.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
