But things quickly go wrong.<\/p>\n According to the official description from IFC:<\/p>\n Free Eden employee Apple secretly runs a witchy femme cult in the basement of the mall store after hours \u2013 with fellow fruits Cherry and Fig. But when new hire Pumpkin challenges their performative sisterhood, the women are forced to face their own poisons or succumb to a bloody fate.<\/em><\/p>\n Along with Tung, Pedretti, Reinhart and Shipp, the film also stars Gabrielle Union and Emma Chamberlain. The comparisons make sense. The Craft<\/em>, the \u201990s cult classic starring Rachel True,<\/a> Fairuza Balk, Robin Tunney and Neve Campbell, follows high school girls who created a witch coven whose sisterhood is tested after a spell goes wrong. Bodies Bodies Bodies<\/em>, on the other hand, hit theaters in 2022 and gave fans a story about a group of 20-somethings who hold a hurricane party that becomes a deadly disaster. The film starred Amandla Stenberg<\/a>, Myha\u2019la<\/a>, Maria Bakalova, Rachel Sennott, Chase Sui Wonders, Pete Davidson and Lee Pace.<\/p>\n Like Forbidden Fruits<\/em>\u2018 campy aesthetic, both The Craft<\/em> and Bodies Bodies Bodies<\/em> rely on camp, queer culture, and edgy sensibilities to entice the audience.
