The\u00a0<\/span><\/span>20th\u00a0<\/span><\/span>anniversary\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>of\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>Hannah\u00a0<\/span><\/em>Montana<\/em>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>will\u00a0<\/span><\/span>be\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>celebrated\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>in\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>2026,\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>which\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>is\u2026\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>surreal.<\/span><\/span><\/span> Miley Cyrus<\/a> will help celebrate the anniversary, speaking with the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special<\/em><\/strong>\u2018s host, Alex Cooper, about her experiences starring in the family-friendly series that debuted on the Disney Channel on March 24, 2006.<\/p>\n

\u201cHannah Montana<\/em> will always be a part of who I am. What started as a TV show became a shared experience that shaped my life and the lives of so many fans, and I\u2019ll always be thankful for that connection,\u201d stated Miley Cyrus. \u201cThe fact that it still means so much to people all these years later is something I\u2019m very proud of. This \u2018Hannahversary\u2019 is my way of celebrating and thanking the fans who\u2019ve stood by me for 20 years.\u201d<\/p>\n

The anniversary special will stream on Disney+ on March 24, 2026.<\/p>\n

Disney+ released this description of the anniversary event:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe special will be filmed in front of a live studio audience and will feature an exclusive, in-depth interview with Miley Cyrus, hosted by Alex Cooper. The conversation will offer an intimate look at the creation of one of pop culture\u2019s most iconic characters and the lasting impact the show and character have had on fans around the world.<\/p>\n

With heartfelt nostalgia and fresh perspective, Cyrus will revisit the moments, music and memories that defined an era. Viewers will be treated to never-before-seen archival footage, while some of the most memorable sets from Hannah Montana<\/em> are brought back to life\u2014including the Stewart family living room and the legendary Hannah Montana closet. There will also be some familiar *notes* that find their way back into the spotlight\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

HopeTown Entertainment and Unwell Productions are producing the special. Ashley Edens is the showrunner, and Miley Cyrus, Tish Cyrus-Purcell, Alex Cooper, and Matt Kaplan are the executive producers.<\/p>\n
