Berlin-based world sales company M-Appeal<\/a> has closed a further wave of international deals on Muriel d\u2019Ansembourg<\/a>\u2019s \u201cTruly Naked<\/a>,\u201d building on the competitive bidding interest previously reported ahead of its world premiere in Berlinale Perspectives.<\/p>\n

The film has now been acquired for Portugal by Nitrato Filmes<\/a>, for the U.K. and Ireland by AX1, for Hong Kong by Edko Films Ltd., for Scandinavia by Njuta Films<\/a>, and for Spain by Filmin<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The story follows Alec, a soft-spoken, introverted teenager raised in the orbit of his father\u2019s adult entertainment business. When the family relocates from London to a quiet seaside town, Alec hopes for a fresh start. Everything shifts when he meets Nina, a fiercely independent young woman whose outlook challenges his understanding of connection.<\/p>\n
