In some rather en-raging news today, it seems that the third chapter of the 28 Years Later<\/a> trilogy is now in limbo, per a report from World of Reel.<\/p>\n

Said the outlet, \u201cThe last week, I\u2019ve heard from two separate sources that Sony<\/a> is in no rush to make the trilogy capper happen, despite announcing it last December. In fact, I\u2019ve heard Netflix<\/a> has shown some interest in acquiring the sequel, but Danny Boyle<\/a> isn\u2019t having any of it. He wants a theatrical release for this final chapter, which is supposed to star Cillian Murphy<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Indeed, Sony did announce that they were moving ahead with Chapter 3 prior to Bone Temple\u2018s theatrical release this past January. While Dread has not confirmed these rumors, it certainly wouldn\u2019t come as a shock that Sony now has cold feet.<\/p>\n
