King Charles<\/strong><\/a> gave Meghan Markle<\/strong><\/a> a very unique nickname during her time as a senior member of the royal family, a new book claims.<\/p>\n According to Russell Myers<\/strong>‘ tome, William & Catherine: The Intimate Inside Story, <\/em>the sovereign’s moniker for the Duchess of Sussex, 44, before she left the Firm in 2020,<\/a> alluded to her strong wit and fortitude.<\/p>\n King Charles’ nickname for Meghan Markle was \u2018Tungsten.’MEGA<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n Charles, 77, had “given her the nickname \u2018Tungsten,’ in reference to the metal known for being tough and unbending under extreme pressure.”<\/p>\n The book noted how the monarch was enamored by Meghan<\/a> after she married his youngest son, Prince Harry<\/strong><\/a>, in 2018.<\/p>\n “He [Charles] was very fond of her and in the early days found her charming to be around.
