With The Housemaid<\/a> nearing $360M worldwide, Amanda Seyfried<\/a> recently admitted the extent of her work on the Paul Feig<\/a> film.<\/p>\n

Despite being credited as an executive producer on the feature adaptation of Freida McFadden<\/a>\u2019s 2022 novel, the Oscar nominee confessed she \u201cdidn\u2019t do sh*t to make that movie\u201d beyond her onscreen portrayal of Nina Winchester.<\/p>\n

\u201cCan I tell you something? I\u2019m a producer on it,\u201d she noted on The Graham Norton Show<\/a>. \u201cBut I didn\u2019t know until three weeks in, when I saw the call sheet, and I was like, \u2018Executive producer? I didn\u2019t sign up for that.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Seyfried said she then called a producer on the film, who informed her that her agent negotiated the credit on her behalf. \u201cAnd I was like, \u2018This really better be a hit.\u2019 It was one of those vanity credits, \u2019cause I didn\u2019t do sh*t to make that movie.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
