{"id":2288336,"date":"2026-02-19T00:16:32","date_gmt":"2026-02-19T00:16:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/?p=2288336"},"modified":"2026-02-19T00:16:32","modified_gmt":"2026-02-19T00:16:32","slug":"images-entertainment-campus-bound-for-1920s-building-before-world-cup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/images-entertainment-campus-bound-for-1920s-building-before-world-cup\/","title":{"rendered":"Images: Entertainment &#8216;campus&#8217; bound for 1920s building before World Cup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><span>Here\u2019s proof that, prior to Atlanta\u2019s 2026 FIFA World Cup festivities, significant investments in downtown entertainment aren\u2019t limited to Centennial Yards and South Downtown.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>RPB Management Group, the Atlanta-based hospitality company behind downtown concepts Red Phone Booth and Amalfi Cucina + Mercato, announced today a \u201cmulti-venue dining and entertainment campus\u201d called 207 Peachtree is set to open in coming months.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>207 Peachtree calls for six different concepts spread across a restored, 1920s building\u2014the original home of Regenstein\u2019s Department Store\u2014that spans 45,000 square feet on a prominent downtown corner, where Peachtree Street meets Andrew Young International Boulevard.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Those six venues (including speakeasy-style cocktail and cigar bar Red Phone Booth and Neapolitan eatery Amalfi Cucina + Mercato, which both opened in 2016) will include \u201cimmersive\u201d restaurants, bars, and unique venues across four different floors. A restoration led by Marx Realty wrapped in 2019, but this spring will mark the first time all floors have been activated since Regenstein\u2019s bowed out nearly 50 years ago. (An original elevator, updated to modern standards, is part of historic architectural elements that have been preserved, per project officials.)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cOur goal is to keep as much of the original soul as possible by honoring what\u2019s here, revealing it and letting guests feel the history,\u201d Greg Grant, RPB president, said in a 207 Peachtree announcement. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The four new concepts slated to open in coming months include the following, as described by RPB reps (edited for length):\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.airerooftoplounge.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em><span>Aire Rooftop Lounge<\/span><\/em><\/a><em><span>\u2014an indoor-outdoor lounge with city views, handcrafted cocktails, elevated shareable plates, and tableside service, making it the first time the building\u2019s roof will be activated and open to the public.<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.americandive.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em><span>American Dive<\/span><\/em><\/a><em><span>\u2014a classic dive bar fueled by live music at night and a jukebox playing blues, jazz, country, and rock by day. The lively, group-friendly space will offer Southern BBQ, ice-cold beer on tap and by the can and bottle, wine, cocktails, and casual bar games like pool, darts, and arcade games. [Features include] a street-level entry that leads down into the building\u2019s historic lower level, once used as a storage vault during the Regenstein era.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<li>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.peachtreesportingclub.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em><span>Peachtree Sporting Club<\/span><\/em><\/a><em><span>\u2014an upscale, experiential sports bar combining the best of watching sports and gaming with elevated pub fare and a thoughtfully curated beverage menu. Designed in a midcentury-modern style with green tones paired with warm wood finishes, the space balances country-club polish with high-energy, game-day excitement. Located on the second floor of 207 Peachtree, the historic-meets-luxury venue will feature white, gold, and tan interiors with exposed brick walls, 14-foot ceilings, hardwood floors, crystal chandeliers, and expansive windows with sweeping views of the city.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span>\u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to be a part of [downtown\u2019s] continued resurgence while helping restore the building as a destination,\u201d said Stephen de Haan, RPB founder and chairman. \u201cWith so much happening in our city over the next few years\u2026 it\u2019s
